Welding

We are pleased to announce that we are now able to carry out welding repairs on the premises.

It is not uncommon for cars that come into the workshop for rustproofing to exhibit advanced stages of rust often reaching the stage where holes have already appeared in parts of the metal.

We all know the importance of sound metal when rustproofing and no amount of rustproofing can help once the corrosion process has done its damage. In these instances the rust must be cut out or cleaned back and fresh, clean metal welded in its place.

In the past, an area around any isolated rust holes would have to be left untreated so that the customer could take the vehicle to be repaired after the treatment. Once fixed this area could then be coated like the rest of the vehicle. This was an obvious inconvenience to customers who often asked if the necessary welding could be carried out by us.

Now that we have the facility to carry out welding in house, we are now even more equipped in the fight against rust. This all means greater ease and less hassle for customers who can now simply leave the vehicle with us and have all the rustproofing/welding work carried out under one roof.

The two go hand in hand but we can of course offer welding as a stand alone service, should you just require welding prior to an MOT for example.

Alloy Wheel Repairs

We can also carry out repair and refurbishment of alloy wheels. 

Treating and preventing rust on the body and structure of a car is of the upmost importance. While a full cavity wax and underseal treatment will help prevent problems in this area, the cars wheels are often over looked. Wheels can also suffer from corrosion. Often due to minor kerb damage, scrapes & scratches or simply due to age. The condition of the wheels makes a huge impact on a cars overall apperance and wheels in a poor state can let down anotherwise smart car. 

We can refurbish your alloy wheels returning them to original condition for a fraction of their cost new. Scuffs, scrapes, kerb damage and corrosion can be removed from your alloy wheels, improving your cars condition and increasing its value. You can choose to have the full face of the wheel refurbished or for wheels in very poor condition the wheels can be fully stripped and a new powder coat applied over the entire wheel. OE colours are matched to keep originality. Polished wheels and 2/3 piece split rims can also be repaired. 

We can also clean, sand blast and powder coat other car components such as subframes and rocker covers etc, for a flawless finish that really lasts.

Leather Restoration/Renovation

If your leather interior is looking tired, faded or cracked we can restore it to its former glory, returning it to show room condition. From a worn seat bolster to a complete interior restoration. You can even have the colour of your leather changed if required.

This specialist job utilises special leather dyes and protectants to maintain the fresh, new appearance of the renovated leather and is carried out by an LTT approved technician with years of experience working on classic & prestige cars including marques such as Porsche, Aston Martin, Ferrari and Bentley.
